I have been operating Welcome Waggin’ Pet Sitting Services since 1998. After an apprenticeship with a well-established local dog trainer, I began offering my own services as a dog trainer in 2000. I have attended a wide variety of seminars, workshops and conferences on varied aspects of dog behaviour, training and recreational sports, including Dr. Patricia McConnell, Brenda Aloff, Pia Silvani, Kathy Sdao, Webb Anderson, Pat Miller, Sue Sternberg, and Dr. Ian Dunbar, DVM, among others.

I presently share my life with three canines. Sophie, a mixed breed , has just started her competitive career in rally obedience and agility, earning titles from both CPE and CARO. Cassie, a rescued australian shepherd, is learning the skills needed to live a relaxed and happy life in the busy city. My black lab, Tristan, the grand old man, just celebrated his 13th birthday, and is content to hold down the fort – or at least the sofa cushions. Both Cassie and Sophie were adopted from Project Jessie, – where I have been a foster home and volunteer for several years.
