Welcome Waggin' Pet Services Case studies Case Study #1 Client: Alex Alex is a large two-year-old German Shepherd mix with a strong protective streak against people and other dogs. He was becoming increasingly difficult to walk on leash, and guests in the house were uncomfortable with his displays. After much hard work, the owners are now able to enjoy strolls in the neighbourhood and friends and relatives are able to comfortably visit again. Case Study #2 Client: Massey  Massey is a boisterous young Golden Retriever. His owners were having difficulty recalling him when they needed to leave the dogpark, and he was often chewing inappropriate objects and digging in the yard . With a refresher in basic obedience using meaningful rewards, Massey is now a responsive companion in the house and out at the park. Case Study #3 Client: Cassie Cassie is an undersocialised 2 year old Australian Shepherd, who is extremely reactive to dogs, people, squirrels and other things that move quickly. Using systematic desensitization, clicker based obedience training and techniques adapted from Leslie McDevitt's "Control Unleashed" protocol, Cassie is slowly relaxing her vigilance and becoming at ease in her environment.
